I am a Pastor’s wife and mother. I attended Baptist College of Florida (formerly Baptist Bible Institute) until the birth of our daughter. I was her caregiver for 38 years until her passing in 2022. Our daughter was critically ill in most stages of her life and terminally ill with breast cancer for the last year. I have had to be her advocate in every situation she faced and I learned to “speak up” when necessary to access appropriate medical care. We felt privileged to have had her and miss her every day.
