Susana has a passion and love for caregivers and saw their vital role not only personally but professionally. Susana obtained her PhD in Nursing in 2013 making her focus for her PhD on the caregiver. A year after she completed her PhD, her husband suffered a cardiac arrest and Susana was the first responder who initiated CPR and became the informal caregiver for her husband during his recovery.
