Philip H. Mondschein, J.D., LL.M., (in Taxation) is a shareholder in the law firm of Mondschein and Mondschein, P.A. with offices in Miami and Aventura Florida. He received his Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law and his Masters of Law degree in Taxation from New York University. He is a member of the Tax section and Elder Law section of the Florida Bar, the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He has lectured in the areas of estate planning, planning for incapacity and Medicaid eligibility, and planning and drafting Special Needs Trusts for disabled individuals. He has spoken on “Planning, Drafting and Taxation of Special Needs Trusts” and “Drafting and Taxation of Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts” at the Annual Florida Program sponsored by the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, as well as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
