Writer Guidelines

Do you accept articles or queries for Today's Caregiver Magazine? If yes, where do I find writer guidelines?

I'm thrilled to find Caregiver Magazine! Over the past three years a caregiver for a brain-injured brother and 89-year-old mother, I have learned (and continue to) the questions to ask and I am very interested in writing as well as interviewing others. When I ask questions at my brother's nursing home and my mother's assisted living, I continue to be amazed (and grateful!) that the staff is learning just as much as me and yet, admittedly, I never realized that there's still so much for a caregiver to do even if a loved one is under the roof of a nursing home or in assisted living. It falls under the heading of "things that aren't in the welcome handbook". For example, I recently provided a friend who had moved her mother into assisted living with the contact information for her state Medicaid Specialist. This contact was given to me after many, many calls upon moving my brother into a nursing home and they simplified everything for me in easy-to-understand language. Ah! Profound!
It would be a great privilege to contribute an article to Today's Caregiver. Meantime, I thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you.
