How did you become the caregiver for your loved one?
We are family and that what I am all about.
Has your relationship changed with the loved one that you are caring for? If so how?
My relation is the same . We are close and we always remain that way. I am always going to care for them.
What is the hardest thing about being a caregiver and the most rewarding thing?
No one talks about the toll it takes on your mentality. it can be stressful. The most rewarding is that I feel like someone's hero.
What advice would you give to other caregivers?
It's OK to be fustrated and take time away for just you. It does not mean you are failing the person. You are just resting so that you can be even better for your love one.
In ten words or less, what has caregiving taught you?
It has taught me patience and balance.
Describe a situation where being a Fearless Caregiver helped you succeed?
It helped me to succeed with other jobs I have had. I have worked in customer service for 8 years and it has helped me to complete every task to be sure my customer leaves me with satisfaction.
