How did you become the caregiver for your loved one?
His caregiver died...I took him from my sister who was caring for my mom.
Has your relationship changed with the loved one that you are caring for? If so how?
He is mentally challenged and as a child, I didn't pay attention, as an adult I love and adore him.
What is the hardest thing about being a caregiver and the most rewarding thing?
I had no help, I am 78 caring for my brother at 65..total care....
What advice would you give to other caregivers?
You are not super human...though a ward of the state, I recieved very little help...know your limitations.
