How did you become the caregiver for your loved one?
I started out just helping out with errands. As time went on I became the one that provided everyday living skills.
Has your relationship changed with the loved one that you are caring for? If so how?
We became closer. Depend on me for everything.
What is the hardest thing about being a caregiver and the most rewarding thing?
The most rewarding thing is knowing that I could help someone. The hardest is that I get attached.
What advice would you give to other caregivers?
Be honest, trustworthy and dependable.

That you really need patience.

On numerous occasions I was the one that discovered emergency situations and had to react quickly in life or death situations.
