We are pleased to have returned to in-person Fearless Caregiver Conferences with the extremely successful event in Delray Beach Florida. At the end of the month, we will be hosting our 298th in-person or virtual Fearless Caregiver Conference with more coming this year in Jupiter (Florida, not the planet), New Haven, Connecticut, and Cooper City, Florida, with many more planed for communities across the nation next year.
We always host expert Q and A panels at the events which have included medical experts, elder care attorney, veterans’ administration caregiver coordinators, financial experts and even many Secretaries of the Department on Aging. Along with the wisdom imparted by these amazing experts, I will venture to say that some of the wisest answers to caregiver’s questions will come from another source.
You see, Although I am extremely proud of the lessons and support our speakers and experts have imparted at the events, I can honestly say we are all always most impressed by the lessons that the family caregivers share with each other.
No matter if it was the caregiver who shared how she got her formerly stubborn mother to accept homecare to the caregiver at a Philadelphia event who stood up upon hearing another attendee’s story of caring for a group of seniors in her neighborhood and exclaimed, “I live in that neighborhood and from now on you have help”. Or the myriad of other examples of caregivers learning from the best caregiving experts -their fellow caregivers. We look forward to seeing you on the read and sharing the wisdom of caregivers.
