This month, we celebrate National Family Caregivers Month. I remember years ago when it was known as National Family Caregivers Week (and look forward to someday caregivers being celebrated 365 days throughout the year).
We are also on the cusp of the holiday season. The 2020 holiday season! How have your holiday plans changed within this (with any luck) once in a lifetime pandemic year? Are you hosting Zoom Turkey Days and putting up virtual Christmas trees or have you figured a way for your loved ones to gather together safely during this pandemic?
We are pleased by the responses to our Holiday Fearless Caregiver Guide, which is designed to help caregivers throughout the holiday season. Two other guides are Getting Friends and Family Members to Help (no, seriously) and Successful Respite Solutions . They make great caregiver stocking stuffers.
Next week we also celebrate Veterans Day when a grateful nation thanks our fellow citizens who have bravely answered the call of duty throughout the years.
And one more thing, as we will probably be in the midst of the 2020 election season for a while, take a deep breath, make sure to also watch anything else but politics on television and remember, like all things 2020, this too will get better. Soon, hopefully.
