The DOVE System is a two-part system designed to give patients and their caregivers financial peace of mind and control over their medical expenses. It contains everything they would need to Document, Organize, Verify, and Engage (negotiate) with their medical bills.
The ToolKit contains 12 sections to organize information related to insurance carriers, providers, facilities, ancillary services, and pharmacies. It also includes a calendar for medical appointments, correspondence logs to keep track of communications, and many bonuses such as customizable templates to use when corresponding with a hospital or providers billing department. Throughout the ToolKit, there are instructions on how to identify billing errors and resources for additional information.
The Medical Appointment Journal was designed to provide caregivers a way to keep track of what transpired at medical appointments and hospitalizations. At the beginning of the Journal, we teach you how to take notes the same way a health professional does. It’s called the SOAP Method, and it stands for Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan. Being prepared for appointments and having a record of what the patient, caregiver, and provider discussed during the appointment is one of the first steps to having a collaborative relationship with their entire healthcare team.
