Jill Eelkema has worked with older adults and their families for over 15 years. Seeing so many people navigating the maze of aging services alone led her to launch Western Care Partners – a business which guides and supports people through the tasks, emotions and family dynamics that come with getting older or setting up what care we want for ourselves. Before launching Western Care Partners, Jill developed and managed the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) programs for the Denver Regional Council of Governments' Area Agency on Aging. She has a masters degree in social work (MSW) with an emphasis in Aging from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work. She now serves as adjunct faculty for this same program, teaching Care Management and Intergenerational Justice. Jill has worked with families across the United States to help them understand their options and maximize their opportunities for funding and care.
