I watch my caregiver taking care of me and, I feel sad for him, so much work. I know no other person who will lend a hand, I see frustration, on his face. He is worn and tired out, at the end of the day, he knows tomorrow is the same. He checks again the medications on display, he says, call me if you need me. I try so hard, not to need to call him, but then, I need something important. I timidly reach the button to call again, I know he will come, as always. We have really been together twenty-two years, we had divorced eight years ago. We knew each other well, no putting on airs, no fears, we would keep dignity intact. He may often seem to be angry, and I know, he will do something special. He knows we will take this journey for me, although,he will be the one, at the end.
