How did you become the caregiver for your loved one?

When my daughter was born with disabilities.

No, she needs lifelong care.

What is the hardest thing about being a caregiver and the most rewarding thing?

My daughter has 5 life-threatening conditions and autism just to keep things interesting. She's my inspiration.

What advice would you give to other caregivers?

Learn all you can about your care recipient's condition so you won't feel helpless or hopeless.

In ten words or less, what has caregiving taught you?

Patience.

Advocate all the time when my daughter is hospitalized (17 times so far).
