How did you become the caregiver for your loved one?
First off, I have always been a caring helpful person to help anyone if I could but when my grandmother became sick and needed a caregiver, I didn’t hesitate to hand out a helping hand.
Has your relationship changed with the loved one that you are caring for? If so how?
No I will always cherish the memories we had together.
What is the hardest thing about being a caregiver and the most rewarding thing?
The hardest is seeing and knowing a person that was so active and independent no longer is able to do for themselves because of their health decline. But being able to talk to them get a smile makes me feel a lot better.

You have to be a understanding and patient.

Describe a situation where being a Fearless Caregiver helped you succeed?
Working 1st shift. Finding my client had slipped and fell in the bathtub and had been there all night. When I found her she was still conscious but crying in pain and cold. I stayed calm and immediately warmed towels, called 911 and made sure there was no broken bones.
