A call out to all those designers, tinkerers, writers, creators and companies who are working tirelessly on behalf of family caregivers. We extended the deadline to get your entries in for the 2019 Today's Caregiver Friendly Award program.
As a 2019 award winner, you will join a prestigious group of previous winners who developed, invented and created many of the caregiving solutions which we take for granted every single day.
These include fall prevention devices, caregiving organizers, innovative incontinence and home safety products, employee assistance programs, caregiver books and media, caregiving resource centers, and (whew!) medication management systems, among many others too numerous to mention. Those winning and nominated entries represent thousands of hours of loving labor by their producers and manufacturers, all working with one thought in common, “What can I do to help the life of the family caregiver become easier?”
Every year, we are truly impressed by the quality of the entries into the award program. But what I am most excited about is the wide variety of industries that are now sending in entries, and the incredible work they are producing with family caregivers in mind.
We at Today’s Caregiver magazine and caregiver.com launched the Today's Caregiver Friendly Awards in 2002 to celebrate products, services, programs, books and media designed with the needs of caregivers in mind. Our goal is to shine a much-deserved spotlight on those dedicated to making family caregivers lives easier and better.
Award winners will be recognized at Today’s Caregiver magazine’s Fearless Caregiver Conferences. Winners will also be highlighted on caregiver.com (where last year’s winners can presently be found) as well as in the pages of Today’s Caregiver magazine. And you get to place the Caregiver Friendly Award Winner logo on your website and materials.
Please share your labors of love with family caregivers and let them know that someone out there is thinking of them.
But, as the old saying goes…you can’t win if you don’t enter (well, now it is an old saying!)
