As children we drew stick figures
Complete with a core, outstretched limbs
A bobble head, jagged hands, and feet
Oh, for the simplicity of a body with so few parts
While far past childhood we tend to our own well being
And to the many needs of our beloved one in our care
Dear Creator, please keep us and restore us
One stick, circle, and geometric shape at a time.
