The Cat’s Out of the Bag

by

I need to apologize to the 100,000 plus folks who have joined us over the past 25 years at 303 Fearless Caregivers around the country. Oh, not for bringing caregivers, experts and local, regional and national service providers together for the day to interact and learn from one another. Instead I must apologize because I think some caregivers have come to the events under false impressions. You see, we call the Fearless Caregiver Conferences a day to celebrate, educate and motivate family and professional caregivers, which they certainly are, but- we do not mention that it is also a training day.

There, now the cat’s out of the bag. As well as a day designed to put a much-deserved focus on family caregivers, we also want to make sure that our attendees leave with a better understanding of their caregiving roles and take with them some nifty tools about how to better care for their loved ones and for themselves.

The events, as with any training, start by conducting a fearless self-inventory. Within the conference guides is such an evaluation for our attendees to fill out at the beginning of the event and then reconsider their answers at the end of the events. Thankfully the numbers always improve (or at least do not get worse).

So, we thought it would be extremely useful to ask you, our online caregiving family to fill out the form and share your results. (Anonymously, of course).

It’s simple – Take the Fearless Caregiver Personality, fill out the form and add the numbers above each of your choices (1-5). Total the numbers at the bottom and press submit. We will average the numbers and share the total with you.

You might be surprised (even happily so) at your score.
