Living with Fear

by

You cried tonight,
it hurt me so,
It hurt to watch, your tears flow.
I felt your pain and frustration,
As I saw you sinking, into depression.

You have something, that won’t go away,
No matter what, it’s here to stay.
I sit and watch you, day by day,
But I still don’t know, what to say.

If I could take your pain away,
I’d do it now, without delay.
I love you so much, my dear,
I wish I could chase, away your fear.

I hold you close and let you cry,
It’ll get better as time goes by.
We’ll take it one day at a time,
A cure in the future, we pray they’ll find.
