Partner who might have ALS
I was hoping to get information about caring for someone with ALS. Gary and I have lived together for 29 years but are not married. Gary is one of those patients who has not had a definitive diagnosis for ALS but all the symptoms show that is most likely the case. He does not want to know whether its ALS or not. Because we are not married, I'm afraid that his physicians office may not be as helpful as I would like. I need some help because he is starting to fall often and has been to the emergency room once. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate the help.
