Rehab Question

My brother is a diabetic. He was in the hospital for a vascular transplant. The surgery was successful. They sent him to a rehab center for physical therapy. After almost 2 weeks we feel he is ready to come home. The home says they want him to stay two more weeks . If we choose to bring him home will Medicare still pay the bill?
