Carenote from Donna

Welcome to CareNotes. In this special section we will feature a reader's letter and provide an opportunity for an interactive exchange that will help find some answers and possible solutions to concerns.

Aging Mother

Mom is 87, lives alone (for now) does well on her own, but getting more frail, more rapidly.  She is nearly blind, deaf and has severe arthritis in her hands and feet; she maintains her independence due to plain stubbornness and with help from her children.  I am seeking information on how to keep her in her home.  Also, other resources that will assist her in a continued quality way of life.
