11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer's or other kinds of dementia. It's no wonder that Dementia care partners are referred to as the invisible second patients.

The challenges of caring for a loved one were experienced by Dani Waxman while caring for his mother in law. The family was geographically dispersed and everyone wanted to do their part sharing in the caregiving responsibilities.  Dani came across  dementia clocks which have been shown to help with time dis-orientation but Dani looked for a product that can provide more then just the time and date functions. Not finding one, Dani developed RecallCue- a connected Day Clock app.

RecallCue operates in 2 modes. The first, "Day Clock", turns any tablet into a “hands-off” easy to read day clock. The second, "Connect", lets anyone, no matter where they are, communicate with their loved one, with the ability to send messages, photos, set alarms and reminders, play music, share files and two way video calling. The recipient of the messages is totally hands off and does not require any active participation or knowledge of technology.

RecallCue is constantly evolving based on user feedback to meet the challenges of the care partners.
