Anti-Wandering DepartAlert
DepartAlert by Smart Caregiver, has been a successful Anti-Wandering tool in facilities for years. New for 2020, DepartAlert is now available for home use. We designed it specifically for Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. It is affordable for families and will help keep loved ones safe from wandering.
This system is easy as 1, 2, 3. Simply mount the main unit to doorway and plug it in. Attach contact switch to door and place wristband transmitter on the patient’s wrist. When a loved one, wearing the wristband, opens the door the caregiver will be alerted. This system comes with a pager which receives a signal up to 300' away from the door. This allows the caregiver to have the freedom to attend to other tasks and still know before their loved one is attempting to wander away.
