This Week’s Music Appointment with Your Patient or Loved One

This is the second weekly “music appointment” feature. As we mentioned last week, setting an appointment at a specific time of day with your patient or loved one gives you both something to look forward to. And, from what we’ve heard, many of you feel so much better once you’ve enjoyed the music and warm feelings that these videos deliver. This week we are featuring two inspiring videos with singers from all over the world brought together during the pandemic by the miracle of Zoom video.

The first one is You’ll Never Walk Alone for the musical Carousel. This one will be especially meaningful to you as caregivers and we’re hoping that this reminds you that we are all in this together. The second one is meant to get you into the Christmas spirit. It is Handel’s The Hallelujah Chorus.  What is so amazing is that the 200 chorus members recorded their parts separately from home.
