This Week's Carenote - 04/30/13

I am a caregiver for a loved one living with Down syndrome and Lewy body dementia disease who has violent outbursts. What should be done when an episode occurs? What can calm down the situation?

Try the Bach Flower remedy of Rescue Remedy. I like the spray; you can spray the room, furniture, or a person. In this case, I recommend spraying the room, NOT the person. It should help to calm the situation down. Can also be used as a preventative; spray perhaps once a day or whenever you feel you may need it.
